We're Hiring: Warehouse & Delivery Associate

Independence Flooring & Supply is hiring a Warehouse & Delivery Associate to help run our day-to-day operations. Delivery is the core of this role — most days you'll be out on the road three-quarters to a full day, running local and regional deliveries. The rest of your time goes to receiving inventory, pulling and prepping orders, and keeping the warehouse organized.

This isn't a desk job and it isn't a "stand around and wait for instructions" job. You'll be moving flooring, loading trucks, learning the product, and working directly with the team that keeps this place running. If you're someone who shows up, pays attention, and wants to build real skills, we'll train you — and there's a genuine path to take on more responsibility over time, including running deliveries on your own once you're ready.

No flooring experience required. We've hired and trained people from scratch before. We're always willing to train people that show initiative.

What you'll be doing

• Local and regional deliveries — most days you're on the road three-quarters to a full day (valid driver's license, clean driving record, passing a DOT medical exam, and a background check required). *CDL IS NOT required*

• Receiving and checking in shipments

• Pulling and staging orders accurately

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized

• Learning our products well enough to catch a problem before it becomes one

What we're looking for

• Reliable — shows up on time, every time, no exceptions

• Able to lift and move flooring materials repeatedly (75+ lbs)

• Comfortable spending most of the day behind the wheel of a box truck or van — this is a delivery-heavy role (we'll train if needed)

• A good attitude and a willingness to learn

• Able to work independently once trained — we need someone we can count on to handle a route or a task without hand-holding

What you'll get

• $20/hour to start

• Eligible for Annual Bonus

• 7:30 AM–4 PM, Monday–Friday, with occasional overtime when a job needs finishing
